Yet again last night another two young lives were lost in what police describe as "The worst they have seen", driving at what has been described at ridiculous speeds. So what's new?
I live on a highway and every night I listen to speeding cars drag racing each other at "ridiculous speeds" with no concern for anyone else on a main road. Yes it's tragic that young lives are lost, but what about all the other victims when this kind of stupidity takes place.
I am so sick of listening to screeching wheels every night and waiting for the crash. I'm pissed of that this keeps happening. Education hasn't worked, nothing seems to drive the message home. Maybe the morons that think they own the roads should have to meet the families of the victims. These are the real victims. Mothers and fathers who have poured years of love and care into raising their children only to loose them to foolishness. Their lives are probably ruined forever.
How dare they put my family at risk, how dare they be so arrogant as to think their lives are more important than everyone else that uses the roads. I have run out of sympathy for these idiots that one day may kill your child while they are showing off to their friends.
I wonder if they think of their mums devastation as they are speeding out of control into a pole or another human being. The penalties need to change. As far as I am concerned if a person speeds knowingly in a car and kills someone it is murder, and I can tell you right now there would be no forgiving from me if they killed my child.
There are two pairs of parents this morning who have had the worst thing happen to them possible, they have lost their children, they are the ones who have my sympathy. When I see a terrible crash on the news now I get angry because I think of the other victims, the parents, the child that may have been killed, the family that may have been wiped out, somebodies mother of father gone in a split second, all because of someone's disregard for others and stupidity.
