I have just sat down to watch the news and after only 10 minutes I was angry. This week saw yet another group of oversized youths with one brain cell between them, known as "gangs" (are you shaking in terror?) involved in a huge fight at Kingswood Train station in Sydney. Tonight they showed some footage of these morons in their "hoodies" bashing each others brains in and it was disgusting,
I am not a social worker, I am not a university graduate, what I am is an average person, with an average education who is fed up with our streets being terrorised by gutless cretins who think if they wear baggy clothes, carry a knife, show no respect for anything or anybody, and make sure they always have their mates with them when they decide to kick the shit of someone that makes them men. I am fed up with politicians and do gooders trying to come up with excuses for inexcusable behaviour. I am fed up with antisocial behaviour being rewarded with a new youth centre or basketball courts because the poor little twits are bored.
I am fed up with trying to buy a train ticket and having teens behind me spitting everywhere while they call each other "fucking cunts" (sorry but this is the norm now}. I am fed up with the ugliness of graffiti everywhere and then we all pay to have it removed with our taxes.
I am far from a crabby old hag as you are probably thinking but I am so sick of people dancing around the subject of teen violence and rotten behaviour because they are frightened they might offend someone.
Here is what I think about these "kids". In other countries like Africa kids would give the world to have free education, welfare when they can't find a job and a country with opportunities for a decent life like we have here. Instead their families are being decimated by Aids and they do the work of the adults to make sure their families survive,. So in my opinion the teen gangs that are on the rise here, who choose not to go to school, who think that being a man is all about stabbing other teens, who spend their days taking drugs and spray painting their dickhead "Tags" on everything that belongs to the rest of us, who cannot string a sentence together because their vocabulary consists of a few swear words and nouns when there is no excuse for not being educated in a country like Australia, are a whole lot of spoilt brats that need their arses kicked !!
Now I know my solution might not seem like a reasonable one BUT......come and live in Mount Druitt for a week, live in Claymore for a week, spend a week hanging around the streets of Parramatta and see if I am wrong. You can't judge what you don't see, and believe me there is a lot to see. We have been excusing bad behaviour for too long and look at the results, This violence and arrogance is on the rise and I believe a lot worse than people realise and all the "do gooders" of the world are not going to fix it no matter how well intentioned.
Oh and by the way, they just announced on the news two teens at Parramatta have just been stabbed. SURPRISE SURPRISE.
