LILLY NATION
August 2nd 2009 04:21
My three year old niece (nearly four she informs me angrily) threw the best tantrum I have ever seen the other day.I was so very impressed I just had to celebrate her foul temper with a poem. Lilly is a little butter ball with a big personality.............big laughs and a fantastic temper. One of the funniest children I have ever known.

LILLY NATION
She stomps her short legs
and clenches her fists
Lillies tantrums are great
they are not to be missed
Her small chest expands
and she roars like a lion
you can't have that
OH NO, IT'S MINE !
When Lilly lets loose
we all know how it goes
she reddens with anger
WATCH OUT.......there she blows
She stares us all down
with a withering glare
Don't tell me NO
NO NO, don't you dare
We wait it out and we pray
in pure exasperation
that once again calm will return
to our little Lilly nation
