I'm wondering if the trashy celebrities that have been shoved down our throats for the last few years have finally started to wear out their welcome. While watching an old movie today I realised just how cheap and classless a lot of today so called "stars" are. I gathered up a few pics of old and new and put them side by side to show the difference.
Old movie stars were actually famous for doing something, and even if they took part in distasteful things it wasn't aired publicly.
Here are a few samples of old and new, you decide who really is sexy and glamorous.
On one side we have the very definition of trashiness, Paris Hilton. If that dog were a bit smaller he would be in real danger. One the other side is the lovely Marilyn Munroe, who despite her many problems, I think still retained her class.
Okay,on one side is Lindsey Lohan who did a photo shoot under the delusion she could recreate Marilyn Munroe.....WHAT. On the other side is a real woman, the beautiful Raquel Welch, Keep trying Lindsey and one day you might get a little closer to looking like a real woman, on second thought give up..
On one side is the horror that is Lil Kim. I actually think she is a dwarf male with breast implants....just horrid. On the other the wonderful Dorothy Dandridge, now she had class.
On this side of the picture is some woman by the name of Kim Kardashian who is famous for......I don't really know, but she did star in a home sex movie, CLASSY. Next to this piece of nothingness is Marilyn again. I know I've shown her twice but really, she wipes the floor with all these would be sex symbols.
This side of the page shows Pamela Anderson. Now I don't mind old Pammie so much, there is something endearing about her, but........how does anyone compare to the absolute beauty of Ava Gardiner, she had so much class and talent.
Being such a Paris fan I just had to show her scrawny body again. The best picture I have ever seen of the queen of cheapness was when she had a penis in her mouth, it suited her.
The vision of loveliness and good taste beside her is Sophia Loren.
The disaster on this side of the picture is Mary Kate Olsen, you know, one of the wealthiest young women around. So why doesn't she buy some clothes? The Salvation Army want their rags back. On the other side would be the very, very classy Audrey Hepburn.
Of course no item about trash would be complete without that english rose Katie Price or "Jordan" as she was previously known. Lovely dress Katie (GAG). Next to her is one of my favourites, Rita Hayworth, it doesn't matter how many boob jobs she buys, Katie will never look this good.
And to finish off is another one of my favourites of good taste, the epitome of vanity, Mariah Carey. Yes I know she can sing, but why has she always got her tits hanging out? Do they sing as well? Put them away and just sing, please. The last pic of all is Ava Gardiner again, oh how I wish I looked like her and so does Mariah probably....fat chance.

i agree with Someone that Cate Blanchett is incredibly classy, as is Scarlet Johansson, and Kate Winslet . . . and im a huge fan of J.Lo, very elegant
all that "party pack" though are just trash, Paris Hilton will always look skanky and so will all those other eating diorder, drug hound, boozers
i did enjoy the compare and contrast though!
