The Gangsters’ Ball – A Swing Dancing, Burlesque & Cabaret Extravaganza!
Well, it's that time again. Get out your feathers and corsets, brush up on your swing dancing and get ready for the Gangsters Ball.
The standout event on the Australian Swing Dancing & Burlesque calendar, The Gangsters’ Ball is a fully themed night of non-stop entertainment featuring the biggest names in Australian & International Burlesque, Cabaret and Swing Dancing. This year the Gangsters’ Ball will big bigger, bolder and better than ever, traveling to:
Sydney: Metro Theatre, Saturday 5th September 2009
Brisbane: Tivoli Theatre, Saturday 17th October 2009
Melbourne: Forum Theatre, Saturday 7th November 2009
The Gangsters’ Ball 2008 was an amazing success, selling out 700 tickets some 4 weeks in advance with nearly 200 people queuing at the door for up to 3 hours to purchase the remaining 50 tickets… It was widely regarded by those who attended as “the best event of its type ever held in Sydney” and voted by the Drum Media Street Press Magazine in it's 2008 Readers Poll Edition as the “best Swing/Rockabilly Event of 2008”.
